Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Hydraulic Mechanic to join our team in Cranbrook, BC. As a Hydraulic Mechanic, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of hydraulic systems and equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of hydraulic principles, mechanical systems, and a commitment to safety and quality. You'll be working on a variety of equipment which includes pumps, motors, valves and mobile equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic system malfunctions and failures.
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventative maintenance on hydraulic systems.
• Install, repair, and replace hydraulic components, including pumps, valves, and hoses.
• Interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals to identify and address hydraulic system issues.
• Collaborate with other mechanics and technicians to ensure efficient and effective repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and maintenance schedules.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
• Proven experience as a Hydraulic Mechanic or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic principles, components, and systems.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex hydraulic system problems.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized hydraulic equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
