Key Responsibilities:

* Safely transport goods to clients in a timely manner, ensuring goods are delivered in excellent condition.

* Plan and manage efficient routes to minimize fuel consumption, cost, and delivery time.

* Conduct regular vehicle maintenance and inspections to ensure that your vehicle is in optimal working condition.

* Provide outstanding service by keeping customers updated on delivery status and addressing any concerns promptly.

* Follow all state and federal regulations, including maintaining proper licenses, permits, and insurance.

* Handle invoicing, payments, and all financial aspects of your business, maintaining accurate records.

* Adhere to strict safety guidelines to ensure the protection of yourself, your cargo, and others on the road.

Qualifications:

* Must possess a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) for the vehicle type you will be operating.

* Must own or lease your own truck, van, or other suitable transportation equipment.

* Minimum of 2 years' experience in transportation or delivery preferred.

* A clean driving record is required with no serious violations.

* Ability to independently manage routes, finances, and maintenance.

* Ability to work independently while managing day-to-day business operations.

* Strong communication skills for maintaining relationships with clients and dispatch teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of route-planning technology and GPS systems.

Ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and perform basic vehicle maintenance.
