A VERY RARE ANTIQUE 1880's DOUBLE DIAL SINGLE BUTTON CHRONOGRAPH POCKET WATCH

Hello & Welcome .Up for sale we have a extremely rare fully serviced late 1880's Swiss made double dial single button chronograph pocket watch ..It comes running smoothly keeping accurate time still after 130 years.. fantastic .. .....Please see photos..

It comes In a solid coin silver case stamped for 800 Swiss silver ..This watch has the time on the front with the chronograph dial in the back ..This is a stem wind pin set watch both work super smooth ..The chronograph works great push the crown down to start it again to stop it and a third time to reset it ...The fly back is right on the money ....Please see photos..

Over all condition is amazing for its age ,,yes it has some light scratches & a couple of minor nicks but nothing that takes away from this great antique time piece ..It's only real flaw is that the solid silver chronograph chapter ring has tarnished & that makes it a bit hard to read the dial .....Please see photos..

The front porcelain dial is perfect shiny clean & looks fantastic not a mark on it,, It has like new shiny blued steel spade hands with a sunk sub second dial ..Also a clear thick glass Crystal ..The back has a thicker crystal with a couple of tiny minor scratches ..Please keep in mind your looking at a 130 year old very lightly used time piece .....Please see photos..

The gold gilt movement looks like the day it was made also shiny and clean with gold gilt gears & a blued steel hairspring with a bimetallic compensated balance wheel. Pretty high end for the time ..The Nickle chronograph parts as you can see are like new shiny clean and working perfectly ..I love where the speed adjustment scale is stamped into the edge of the case.. The case & movement plates are all number the same ..unfortunately I have no makers name as to who made it,, oddly enough that's not that uncommon to have a unsigned pocket watch from that time do to the import laws .. This is A full sized pocket watch at 50mm wide by 20 mm thick ..A size 16 and will come with a newer watch box as shown .....Please see photos.....

A super rare & highly collectible time piece in superb condition & would make for a fantastic gift or a great keeper to enjoy & add to your own collection..
