Dental Hygienist and Assisting the dentist during dental procedures

- Hygiene two to three days a week and as required to cover vacation and absences
- Dental assisting with DDS and hygienists

- Maintaining dental supplies

- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Prepare and maintain dental materials and supplies
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Schedule and confirm dental appointments
- Maintain accurate patient records

- Opportunity to develop into a full time hygiene position in the future

Skills
- Proficiency in dental computer-programs and imaging software, (Cleardent)

Hygiene and Assisting

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with infection control protocols and safety standards

As a Dental Hygienist/Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting the dentist in providing quality dental care to patients. Your duties will include hygiene, assisting with procedures, preparing instruments, taking x-rays, educating patients, and maintaining patient records. In addition to your technical skills, you will need to have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment, following infection control protocols, and ensuring the safety of both patients and staff.
