Up for grabs is a 1973(ish) Gibson Sg.

This is an absolute rock beast of a guitar. It will be your best friend. It's the guitar you can take out, and not have to baby. It's been around the block, it might even be able to drive you home, and get you into the house safe and sound, at the end of a hard night's gigging.

Ebony board, block inlays, no breaks.

EMG pickups, Schaller locking tuners. Refinished, as seen in pictures, by previous owner.

I use the term 1973(ish) because serial numbers are vague from these years. You can only see the first three numbers due to the refin. Scouring the internet for information, with an ADHD fueled hyper-focus, this is the conclusion I've come to.

I'm not sure if these actually came with a case from the factory. The catalog from '73 would suggest no. I'm pretty certain that the case is age authentic, and maybe the case from when it was bought, but I have no way to verify. I bought it as you see it.

Why am I letting it go? I am a man who wants an SG, but once I own them and play them, I realize they don't fit me well. But I really want them to. Such is life.

How much do I value a trade value?
Somewhere in the Gibson Les Paul Traditional, Classic, Standard Range-ish give or take.
