The previous HiFi'er owner painted surface black by body shop to match his black system set up, according to him. You will find everything inside you want to see from a TD160, like the tonearm, the motor, and a hard to find inner plinth, an enhancement, with a "true ball bearing" vs spindle point bearing. This was one of the reasons I bought it and wanted to keep along with a TD125 MK II, but literally not used because I have other TT's to play with. Being a turntable and analogue lover, I like good and descent TTs. I gave it a new belt to make sure it runs great, and it runs great at time of sale Cartridge is a Audio Technica AT13Ea with a VG needle that would last many long years under normal use. TT and cover is 9.5/10 overall.
