"Boots"
My great gelding is unfortunately up for sale at no fault of his own. My new job is giving me far less time for him and he deserves way better.
He's a very in your pocket, rest his head on your chest kind of boy. He's got lots of get up and go when needed, but I've also put my extremely beginner children on him and he just plunks along. I would prefer him to go to a experienced owner, as I haven't been able to give him the time he needs lately and I wouldn't be comfortable putting a beginner on him right now.
He has been rode through cattle drives and brandings, but does get a little hot when around cattle. They're not his favorite but he's only been recently introduced to them and with some more experience I'm very confident he would love it.
I have roped off of him (dummy) and have backed him into the box. He has zero spook and quite comfortable with anything to do with ropes. I've had my husband rope my ankles and drag me behind him and he just trucks a long.
He's been involved in gymkhanas and arena riding as well. He does very very well.
He's been exposed to a lot of trail riding. Just him, me and my dog. Or also in a group. He LOVES bush wacking as well.
Point this guy in any direction and if he trusts you, you can 100% trust him.
