Small home-based company looking for food packer (on-call) - WEST END

Responsibilities
Inspecting food products for defects or any quality issues before packaging
Operating, adjusting, and cleaning packaging equipment and machines
Maintaining a clean and organized work area
Ensuring all packages are properly labeled and sealed
Keeping products separated and accessible
Labeling the product containers/pouches/packages
Ensuring proper storage of packaged products in storage area
Communicating on packages inventory when low or any other issue
Complying with all food safety regulations and standards (Regular hand wash, wearing masks, hairnet, gloves,…)
· Communicating on equipment malfunction when needed

Regularly inspect packaging and labeling to ensure our products meet quality standards.
Cleaning work area before and/or after work session

Equipment / tool to be used: stamp, label gun, knife, scale

Ability to lift 80Lbs
Willing to push, pull, crouch, kneel, bend
Able to stand for long periods.
Able to remain focus in a fast-paced environment, details oriented
