Casual Labourer – Cabinet Installer Assistant (As Needed)

We are seeking a reliable and flexible casual laborer to primarily help with cabinet loading and unloading. Ideally, we are seeking an individual who is also qualified to work as a cabinet installer assistant, on an as-needed basis. Some weeks could involve 1-3 days or more, while other weeks may be quieter, depending on project schedule and needs. This role is perfect for those interested in occasional work, such as a retiree looking to stay active and involved without relying on guaranteed hours.


Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with loading and unloading cabinets, tools, and materials at job sites
• Support the lead installer during the cabinet installation process, including measuring, leveling, and securing cabinets
• Help with site clean-up, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored and organized


Required Qualifications and Skills:
• Experience in cabinetry installation or construction is preferred
• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials or equipment.
• Flexibility to work as needed, with the potential for fluctuating hours
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Excellent attention to detail
• Positive, pleasant attitude with customers and coworkers
• Enjoy working as part of a team
• Strong professionalism in customer interactions
• Ability to work well with others in a customer-focused environment
