1938 Ford Coupe dirt track racer. This vintage steel coupe has a 1939 deluxe body with 1940 front sheet metal.
The motor is a 283 cubic inch Chev with a two barrel carb. The transmission is a two speed powerglide automatic. The rear end is 1957 Chev mounted on the factory transverse leaf spring.
The original straight axle front end is upgraded with disc brakes. The car has factory manual steering.
This is a neat, fun to drive old vintage race car that has been converted to a street driver. I drove it last summer and it is Saskatchewan registered as a 1938.
