This Showcase Rosewood A6T features a solid spruce top with Adirondack spruce bracing, solid Indian rosewood back and sides, mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard, gorgeous multi-ply alternating wooden bindings and finely inlaid purfling's on all 3 sides, a stunning multi-ply rosewood rosette, pearl/abalone headstock inlay, and gold hardware. It's as fun to look at as it is to play.

The bone nut has perfect proportional string spacing and has been set with an even .020” action across the first fret. The frets have been leveled, rounded and polished to a brilliant luster. The action at the 12th fret is 6/64” on the low E, 5/64” on the high e and strung with Ernie Ball Earthwood 12-54 Medium Light Phosphor Bronze strings. The bone saddle has a 20” diameter radius and each strings intonation is on point. The neck relief is set at .008” and all strings ring out clearly across the fretboard.

There are no cracks or defects, only 3 small top dings, and some playwear on the gold tuning keys. The very useable A6T on-board electronics has an under the saddle transducer, and 3 separate transduces glued on the base plate, that can be blended and equalized. The Adirondack spruce bracing produces a pronounced midrange that stands out in a crowd. This was my go-to acoustic for 3 years and it never let me down. Most definitely has the played-in sound!

The serial #033287000117 indicates the guitar was manufactured sometime after 2008 and this is the 117th built. This model is discontinued, and my guess is that they were just too time intensive and expensive to manufacture. In my experience Godin brands are always a good investment as they are consistently more dependable/less problematic as they seem to be built with 4 seasons and dry Canadian winters in mind.
