FRAMED LIMITED EDITION SUNKEN TREASURE COIN The HMS Admiral Gardner was a three-masted, 816-ton ship bound for the East Indies. The vessel left its London port in 1809 with a cargo of newly minted copper coins. However, it never reached its destination due to a fierce storm and an unforgiving trouble area dubbed the Goodwin Sands . The treasure of lost coins was recovered and offered as limited edition, framed collector artwork. The item for sale is beautifully double-matted in red and gold, and set in a rich, dark oak frame. It measures 13 1/2" wide by 16 3/8" tall by 1 1/8" thick. It's in excellent condition
