Sylverkat Bobtails is now accepting reservations and deposits on TICA REGISTERED, pedigreed/purebred, American Bobtail kittens, a breed difficult to find in Canada. Our kittens our bred to be the highest of quality with show champion blood lines. Pet, and possibly a couple show alters are available (depending on their development). Kittens are vet checked, come vaccinated, dewormed, treated with flea prevention (Revolution), and come with a kitten starter kit with dry and canned food, coupons, toys, catnip, care guide, treats, and blanket with spritz of feliway pheromone spray and scent of mom and siblings for comfort, 6-week complimentary trial of pet insurance which cover up to $500 in accident or illness within the first 6 weeks, adoption contract, health passport/booklet/records, 3-year health guarantee, and registration papers with proof of spay and neuter. Our kittens are raised in our home as loved members of the family, are highly intelligent, well socialized, come from a clean and sanitary environment. They are used to being around people, dogs, and other cats. They do well in the car and will be weaned onto a quality, hard, kitten kibble. They love attention from people and will follow you around like you are their whole world. American Bobtails are happy-go-lucky, playful, and active kittens. American Bobtails make amazing family members and are known for their dog-like personalities, willingness to please, easily learning commands, playing fetch, walking on leashes, doing tricks, coming when called, greeting you at the door. They reliably use their litter boxes, are people orientated, and will become very attached to your entire family. They also make great travel companions! The American Bobtails is a medium to large cat, with the look of being wild and powerful. Bred to have similar appearance of Canadian lynx, and Bobcats; including their shortened bobbed tails. They come in all coat patterns and colours, from traditional tabbies, silvers, chocolates, dilutes, solids, pointed, and with or without white. Hair length can be short, medium, or long, however, we only work with medium and long coat Bobtails. Kittens will be ready to go to their new homes at 10 to 12 weeks old, when they have received a minimum of their first vaccines. I know it is hard to be patient when waiting for your new “furbaby”, but please do not ask to take them home earlier. Every kitten develops at his/her own pace and will not be ready until I am confident in each of their development and independence. Reserve now or get to know them.
