This Hohner Super Chromatic Harmonica Model 270 (in C) was purchased by my father in the Netherlands in the mid-70s. I don't think it has been played in at least 50 years.
It even includes the original sheet with playing tips, world-wide Hohner Distributors and a starter song for beginners. It actually is made from a very thin folded plastic bag, which I have scanned.
The Chromonica set the standard for chromatic harmonica instruments and is considered to be a serious concert instrument, it has also found its niche in pop, jazz and blues over the years.
The HOHNER Chromatic Harmonica, later renamed the Super Chromonica was invented in 1912. All Chromonica models are hand-made in Germany
