MAINTENANCE FOREMAN
Fort Simpson Housing Authority
Full-time Indeterminate Position
Fort Simpson, NT



Under the direction of the Housing Manager this position is responsible to ensure that adequate maintenance of all housing units by the Housing Authority are maintained according to standards. This position manages and supervises all maintenance staff and administers contracts/tenders for the Housing Authority.

Applicants must be available to travel outside of Fort Simpson by vehicle, in small aircraft and in various weather conditions with ice road travel to smaller communities possible.

Wage is between $54.10-$59.45/hr. and is dependent on experience, plus Northern Allowance for the community of Fort Simpson (currently $12,982 per annum pro-rated on a bi-weekly basis) and pension with benefits.

Mandatory requirement for this position is a Journeyman Certificate in one of the building trades. Valid Class 5 Drivers License is mandatory. A satisfactory Vulnerable Sector records check is also required.

The Fort Simpson Housing Authority is a unionized workplace.
