Kangals are known for their courage and determination. They have been used for centuries to protect flocks of sheep and goats from wolves, bears, and other predators in the rugged terrain of Turkey. Despite their formidable guarding abilities, they are also known for being gentle and affectionate with their human families, making them excellent companions as well as protectors.



The Great Pyrenees, also known as the Pyrenean Mountain Dog, is a majestic and powerful breed that has been used for centuries as a livestock guardian in the Pyrenees Mountains of France and Spain. These dogs are known for their calm, patient demeanor and their unwavering dedication to protecting their flock.

One of the most striking features of the Great Pyrenees is their beautiful, flowing coat, which not only provides protection from the elements but also gives them a regal appearance. Their expressive dark eyes and gentle expression add to their charm.

Great Pyrenees are known for their gentle and affectionate nature, especially with children. They are calm and patient, making them excellent family pets. However, they are also incredibly vigilant and protective, always on the lookout for potential threats to their loved ones. Their deep, booming bark serves as a deterrent to predators and intruders.

These dogs are highly intelligent and independent, traits that were essential for their traditional role as livestock guardians. While they are loyal and devoted to their families, they can also be somewhat aloof with strangers, making them excellent watchdogs.

Your familiar livestock guardian of the North the Great Pyrenees combined with the exotic Kangal from the south will be an outstanding addition and defender for any farm family. Both parents have been exposed to horses, chickens/ducks, goats, cats, dogs and children since young. Both dam & sire are working dogs and come from working parents. Their offspring are to be placed in similar environments. These dogs will be large and will need a lot of space. Appropriate experience with these breeds is a bonus!

A $500 non-refundable deposit will be required to reserve a pup once due date has been confirmed.
Puppies will leave with their first set of vaccines and dewormed.
