Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flooring Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for craftsmanship and a strong background in flooring installation. This role involves working with various flooring materials, ensuring high-quality installations that meet customer expectations. The Flooring Installer will be responsible for transforming spaces by installing, repairing, and maintaining flooring surfaces in residential and commercial settings.

Duties

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine layout and installation requirements.
Measure and cut flooring materials accurately to fit designated areas.
Install various types of flooring, including tile, hardwood, laminate, and carpet, ensuring precision and quality.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing flooring materials.
Apply caulking and other finishing materials to ensure a clean and polished look.
Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the installation process.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding project progress and addressing any concerns.
Qualifications

Proven experience in flooring installation or related maintenance person work is preferred.
Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Knowledge of different flooring types, including tile laying techniques, is a plus.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
A valid driver's license may be required for travel to job sites.
