Job Duties:
• Create new recipes;
• Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food;
• Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff;
• Assists with menu planning, inventory, and management of supplies;
• Keeps stations clean and complies with food safety standards;
• Directing the food preparation process and delegating tasks;
• Cook and prepare high quality dishes;
• Plan menu items and make sure food meets restaurant quality standards

Employment requirement for the position:
• 3-5 years of commercial cooking experience
• Completion of Secondary school

Skills required:
• Standing longer for extended periods
• Good communication skills to work with others to maximize the efficiency of the restaurant operation
• Ability to work under pressure or/and in fast paced environment
