Meet Sapphire, a gentle, though sometimes spirited princess who spends lots of time grooming her gorgeous black fur to keep it looking soft and beautiful. Adopted in 2020, she now needs to find a new home due to a change in circumstances within her human family.
A sensitive and intuitive girl, she understands the subtle differences in her humans and is careful to respect each one's rules and preferences. She is sweet and well mannered but also likes her space and doesn't require cuddles and lap-time. She is not aloof though, and when not taking naps in all of her many favourite sleeping places, she is quirky and entertaining and likes to draw you into her world of play and imagination.
She prefers quiet, predictable environments and is anxious/uncomfortable around young children and loud noises, and intolerant of other pets. Her ideal human family would consist of gentle souled adults who are homebodies so they can accommodate her wish to come and go freely between her indoor and outdoor domains where she is equally at home. Ample outdoor space to roam in good weather is of critical importance to her.
For all her ten years, she is active and in good health and young at heart with undiminished hunting prowess. She has been spayed but is not up to date with vaccinations.
It may take some time for Sapphire to adjust to new routines and a new environment and to transfer her allegiance to a new family, but once her trust has been earned, she will be a most loyal and devoted companion.
