A Maintenance/Caretaker position is open for the Columbian Centre, a 53 suite independent-living complex for seniors, located in Prince Albert. We are looking to hire a friendly, conscientious, and reliable individual, who is able to prioritize and perform the various duties in a timely and responsible manner. This permanent position is 35 hours per week, with after-hours call, and opportunity for overtime. Salary is negotiable, depending on experience and qualifications.
The successful individual is required:
• To be capable of working independently
• To have a valid driver's license
• To possess skills and experience in basic plumbing, heating, and carpentry, as well as painting and electrical.
• To perform cleaning, vacuuming, and steam cleaning duties
• To monitor and maintain the building's heating, cooling, and domestic water systems.
• To perform grounds keeping duties, including snow removal and lawn maintenance
• To use and maintain the supplied power and hand tools safely.
