We're searching for an ambitious and detail-oriented administrative assistant to fill a much needed gap in our organization, and ensure that our administrative and organizational demands are not only being met but exceeded.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Organizing financial statements, reports, memos, invoices letters, and other documents.
Answering phones and routing calls to the correct person or taking messages.
Handling basic bookkeeping tasks.
Filing and retrieving corporate records, documents, and reports.
Researching and conducting data to prepare documents for review and presentations
Helping prepare and set up meetings.
Accurately recording minutes from meetings.
Using various software, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software.
Making travel and accommodation arrangements.
Running errands with company or personal vehicle.
May be required to work in non-traditional environments and with non-traditional work hours and schedule.
Performing office duties that include ordering supplies and managing a records database.
Opening, sorting and distributing incoming mail, emails, and other correspondence.
Provide general administrative support.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
Ideal applicants will possess many of the following skills:
Experience is an administrative support role considered an asset.
Understanding of MS Office and Quickbooks.
Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
Professional level verbal and written communication skills.
Driver's License
Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment.
Flexible and highly adaptable.
Great attention to detail.
Excellent team player.
Knowledge of trucking industry an asset.
Knowledge of warehousing an asset.
Must be Canadian Citizen, Canadian Permanent Resident, or hold an open work permit. Employer will not sponsor candidates who require a visa.
