The Assistant Landscape Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring clients' promises are met. The success of the brand and performance of the company depend on the proper execution of this position's responsibilities.

The Assistant Landscape Technician collaborates closely with the onsite team to maintain the integrity of the units across the work site while actively developing their skills.

General Description Of Duties

Participate daily in completing high-quality work, focusing on exceeding the budgeted timeframe for each job as a team.

Correctly use, store and protect equipment and materials.
Ensure a clean, organized and professional work site.
Engaging with homeowners professionally and appropriately.
Participate in ongoing online and face-to-face training sessions to enhance skills

Experience & Skills

Physical Stamina & Strength - Physically capable of performing labour intensive tasks for extended periods. This includes, but not limited to, carrying and maneuvering heavy materials or equipment- at least one year of physical labour.
Manual Dexterity & Coordination - Good hand-eye coordination and the ability to perform tasks that require precision and skill are important
Safety Awareness - Knowledge of and adherence to safety protocols and practices is crucial to prevent accidents and injuries on the job site.
Teamwork Skills - Working effectively as part if a team is essential. Be able to collaborate with colleagues to complete tasks efficiently.
Ability to Follow Instructions - Able to accurately understand and follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors and or team leads.
Reliability & Punctuality - Being dependable, showing up on time, and maintaining a strong work ethic are valued traits.
Adaptability & Flexibility - The willingness to take on various tasks as needed and adapt to different work environments or conditions.
Basic Technical Knowledge - Basic knowledge of tools, machinery, and equipment relevant to the field.
Problem Solving Skills - Identifying and solving basic problems during work tasks is useful.
Communication Skills - Basic communication skills, including the ability to understand and be understood by others, are important for coordinating with team members and supervisors.
Attention to Detail - Able to perform tasks accurately and thoroughly especially when precision matters.
Basic Literacy & Numeracy - The ability to work in potentially challenging environments, like extreme weather conditions, and maintain high energy and focus levels.
Endurance & Resilience - The ability to work in potentially challenging environments, like extreme weather conditions, and maintain high energy and focus levels.

Job Type: Full Time, 40 hours/week, Monday - Friday, 7:30AM to 5PM

Compensation
$22-28/hr based on experience & qualifications
