OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate female Housekeeper / Caregiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to provide support in various caregiving tasks.

DUTIES:

* Perform thorough cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, and facilities to ensure
a hygienic environment.
* Meal preparation and serving, ensuring dietary needs are met.
* Launder clothing and household linens
* Administer bedside and personal care
* Administer medications, following all safety protocols.
* Assistance with mobility
* Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
* Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk, Assist clients in water (i.e. pool)
* Engage with residents in a friendly manner, promoting their comfort and well-being.
* Collaborate with other caregivers to ensure residents receive comprehensive care.

SKILLS:

* Experience in caregiving roles such as nursing home or assisted living environments
is preferred.
* Familiarity with working with persons with disabilities is a plus.
* Strong cleaning skills with an understanding of proper sanitation practices.
* Ability to prepare meals that cater to specific dietary requirements.
* Capability for heavy lifting and physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks efficiently.
* Excellent communication skills to interact positively with residents and staff
members.
* A caring attitude towards residents, demonstrating empathy and respect at all times.
