Dear animal lovers,

I have been a volunteer with the Sarnia & District Humane Society for the past year. During this time, I've witnessed firsthand the challenges they face in hosting successful events due to a lack of essential equipment. While renting equipment is sometimes an option, it feels irresponsible to spend funds on this when critical veterinary bills still need to be covered.

Recently, the Humane Society held a successful Cat Festival, raising awareness and some much-needed funds. However, with the ongoing goal of raising over $10 million for a new shelter while maintaining the current one and caring for the animals, purchasing event equipment is simply not a priority.

Our Wishlist Includes:
• Up to four PA speakers
• Speaker stands
• One or two wireless microphones
• A pa/amplifier for powering the speakers and connecting devices
• Necessary cables
• A subwoofer (optional but helpful for presentations, music, and future movie nights for kids)
• A tablet or device to play music and media. I may be able to find one on Temu

Any assistance in acquiring these items would be greatly appreciated. I live in Sarnia and am willing to travel a fair distance to pick up donations. If there are more donations than what are required, I will offer the extra items to local charities on your behalf. Or, we will provide it to them no charge whenever they want to host an event.

While I don't have much to offer in return, I do own a Kodak pre-show projector from my time working in a theatre, valued at over $20,000 (at the time), along with a potential replacement bulb. Additionally, I have an original Cineplex screen (80-100 feet diagonal) that I used for hosting movie nights to raise funds for schools. I would be happy to offer these in exchange if they are of interest for a complete system.
