The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Managing Director – Accountant to lead our financial operations, oversee client accounts, and drive the growth of our firm. This role requires a proactive leader with strong accounting expertise, business acumen, and a passion for helping clients resolve tax challenges.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day financial and accounting operations of the firm.
Provide strategic leadership in tax planning, financial compliance, and business solutions.
Manage client relationships, preparation of T2's, offering expert advice on tax resolution and financial strategies.
Ensure adherence to financial regulations, tax laws, and industry best practices.
Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals.
Drive business development initiatives and client acquisition strategies.
Collaborate with internal teams to improve operational efficiency and client services.

Qualifications & Experience

CPA designation is an asset.
5 years of accounting experience, preferably in tax advisory and T2 preparation.
Proven leadership experience in managing teams and business operations.
Strong knowledge of Canadian tax laws, CRA compliance, and financial reporting.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and client relationship skills.
Experience working with businesses and individuals facing tax challenges is an asset.
