Looking for a unique opportunity for some weekend support work with a kind, community-minded, and creative woman? We are seeking an independent support worker who is able to assist with personal in-home support and community engagement in Oshawa.

This opportunity is to work Wednesdays 3:30-10:30pm and every other Friday 3:30-10:30pm. If interested, there could be an opportunity for additional hours. A one-year commitment is preferred.

Experience supporting someone who has a physical and/ or developmental disability is an asset, however compassion and eagerness to facilitate community involvement is highly regarded.

You will be part of a very supportive team that includes other support workers, family, and friends.

Personal attendant care is required including assisted lifts. Training is provided along with appropriate in-home equipment. You will require a vulnerable person's check.

This woman has her own accessible vehicle - just needs her supporter to be able to drive it! Candidates require a valid driver's licence and insurance and will need to provide a driver's abstract.

Rate of pay/compensation: $25/hr.
