Job Title: Support Worker for Adult with Autism and Mental Health Challenges

Job Type: Part-time/Full-time

Hourly Pay: $20/hr, Paid Directly

About the Role: We are seeking a compassionate and understanding individual to support a 40-year-old male with autism and mental health challenges. The ideal candidate will work weekdays and overnight shifts alongside another caregiver, fostering a nurturing environment and assisting with daily living activities.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with personal care tasks
• Support communication and social interaction
• Help maintain daily routines and structure
• Assist with meal preparation and nutrition
• Engage in calming and recreational activities tailored to interests
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Ensure a safe and organized living environment
• Exercise effective conflict resolution techniques
Qualifications:

• Experience working with individuals with autism and mental health challenges preferred
• Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic approach
• Ability to create a structured and supportive environment
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Background check required
