We are seeking compassionate and reliable caregivers to provide dedicated care for a woman with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) in Calgary NW.

Available Positions:
We are hiring for four caregiver roles to provide comprehensive, around-the-clock support:

Daytime Caregiver (Monday – Friday, Day Shift)
Nighttime Caregiver (Monday – Friday, Night Shift)
Weekend Daytime Caregiver (Saturday & Sunday, Day Shift)
Weekend Nighttime Caregiver (Saturday & Sunday, Night Shift)
Live-in and live-out options are available.

Key Responsibilities:
Personal Care Support: Bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting assistance.
Mobility & Transfers: Using lifts, repositioning, and providing range of motion exercises.
Medication & Health Monitoring: Ensuring medications are taken and recognizing signs of respiratory distress.
Respiratory & Feeding Support (as needed): Assisting with safe feeding techniques, monitoring breathing, and supporting airway clearance.
Household Assistance: Light cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe environment.

Qualifications & Requirements:
Previous experience in caregiving, ALS care, or neuromuscular conditions is preferred.
Strong physical ability to assist with transfers, lifts, and mobility support; candidates should be comfortable performing physically demanding tasks.
Height and strength suited for safe and effective patient handling are beneficial.
Ability to assist with mobility and operate lifts or wheelchairs.
Comfortable with night shifts (for night roles).
Reliable, compassionate, and attentive to detail.
CPR/First Aid certification (preferred).
