• Babysitting – Patient and experienced, happy to help with childcare.
• Cleaning & organizing – Whether it's general tidying or deep cleaning, I can help make your space feel fresh and stress-free.
• Helping families after loss – If you've recently lost a loved one and need help cleaning or organizing their space, I understand how hard it can be. I've worked in senior facilities for 3 years and have helped families in these situations before.

A little about me:

I'm still a registered care aide, but in January, my full-time job became really heavy and challenging. I was assigned to a resident who was verbally abusive, and because I was one of the younger employees, his treatment toward me was even more intense than what my co-workers experienced. Despite reporting it and even having all my co-workers stand up for me, nothing was done to change the situation. It was taking a toll on me and my co-workers, so I made the difficult decision to step away for my well-being. I still love helping people and solving problems, but my happy place is in design and creativity.

So I decided to be honest with myself and pursue something that I actually like even on a hard day and no matter how tedious it can be. I'm currently on my journey to becoming a graphic designer and slowly building a professional online presence from scratch.

I've put my skills out there on platforms like Fiverr and Upwork, but with thousands of others offering the same services, it's been hard to get noticed. I've also applied for social media marketing and management roles on Indeed, but without the required 2 years of experience, I rarely hear back.

At one point, I even tried starting a print-on-demand business, designing my own prints and building a Shopify website all by myself. But the initial costs were too high, and at the time, I had to prioritize my grandma's medical bills over investing in the business.

I've always been someone who puts in the effort to create opportunities for myself, but sometimes, privilege and luck play a bigger role than we like to admit—and I just haven't had much of either.

I don't have a vehicle right now, which has made finding home support jobs difficult since most require driving. That's why I'm looking for jobs where I can walk, take transit, or work remotely.
