I made a bathhouse for my yard and built some extras to sell and support conservation efforts by others.

These are inspired by plans on the Canadian Wildliife Federation website with outdoor grade plywood and non toxic stain on the exterior only. They are 32” tall and 16” wide with 3 compartments; all have the bat symbol painted on the front.

You can choose your own way to mount them, but they should go up 10-15 feet above ground as facing the sun (away from branches and shade). The best time to install is before early April when bats are exiting hibernation and looking for a place to raise their young.
