Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. The Electrician will ensure that all work is completed safely and in compliance with local codes and regulations. Experience in residential and commercial renovations, new construction and service is a must.

Duties

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks.
Work with low voltage systems as needed.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople such as maintenance person services to complete renovation projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all work activities.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Experience

- Minimum of 1 year experience as an 309A Licensed Electrician is required
- Familiarity with industrial electrical systems is a plus.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and logic controllers.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams accurately.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills and attention to detail are required
- Knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36.00-$40.00 per hour

Additional pay:
- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed (not often)

Experience:

- Journeyman Electrician: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Drivers Licence (required)
- 309A Construction and Maintenance Certificate (required)
