Looking for a personal caregiver for an elderly gentleman with motor neuron disease and declining muscle atrophy living near Apsley Ontario.
Qualifications must include:
Capable of one-man lifts, experience with Dysphagia, efficient with CPR. Able to lift 50 lbs.
Valid driver's license.
Vulnerable Sector police check, valid within the last year.
Able to assist with some physiotherapy exercises.
Experience in Controlled Breathing exercises and assisted coughing techniques.
Daily responsibilities include:
transferring, bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, and eating
