Job Opportunity: Construction Supervisor
Position: Permanent, Full-time (40 hours/week)
Wage: $28/hour Overtime Pay
Start Date: Aug 1st, 2025

Job Responsibilities:
• Report to the Construction Manager and assist in managing projects, personnel, materials, and overall company operations.
• Supervise, coordinate, and schedule activities of construction workers specializing in painting, bricklaying, roofing, cement finishing, tile setting, plastering, drywall installation, glazing, and insulation.
• Establish work schedules and coordinate tasks with subcontractors and professionals to meet project deadlines.
• Identify and report issues to the Construction Manager, helping to resolve work-related challenges and recommending measures to improve productivity and quality.
• Requisition necessary materials and supplies.
• Assist in budgeting, cost estimation, and project financial control.
• Train workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions.
• Prepare work and project progress reports.

Employment Requirements:
• High school diploma required; preferred education in construction or building-related fields.
• Several years of experience in construction.
• Supervisory experience in construction is an asset.
• Expertise in trades such as plastering, painting, or woodwork installation is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage project deadlines and coordinate with multiple subcontractors.
