Seeking compassionate, energetic and reliable FEMALE workers to provide PERSONAL CARE and DISABILITY SUPPORT to a young woman with Traumatic Brain and Spinal Cord injury. The goals for care are to support her in improving her abilities; promote independence and ensure general well-being.
The work setting is in her private family home 18 km north of Lethbridge.

SHIFTS: Monday thru Thursday between 10:00 am and 6:00 pm
Some Evenings and Week-ends(with prior notice)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Personal Care-provide or assist with full personal care
-Mobility Assistance-standing transfers required
-Rehabilitation Activities- Support and assist with daily therapy program including ROM; therapeutic horseback riding; fitness program and physio therapy; cognitive therapy and hand therapy.
-Support with Daily living skills
-Light housekeeping duties-provide or assist meal prep, laundry, light cleaning and plant care
-Accompany to community appointments and to social and recreational activities
-Provide companionship and emotional support.
***On-the-job training provided for all duties
