We are looking for a passionate and motivated individual to join our dynamic Face-to-Face Fundraising team.This role involves being the direct link between the leading charities we have partnered with and potential supporters throughout Ottawa. You will spend your days engaging with the public to inspire them to contribute to transformative projects and missions taking place around the globe, and here at home. Our team goal is to foster genuine connections and encourage financial support to help make a lasting impact. This position offers both a guaranteed base salary and performance-based bonuses,but also includes flexible working hours, and opportunities for career advancement. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct face-to-face interactions with members of the public to promote the mission and initiatives of various charities.
Inspire and motivate individuals to become long-term supporters by securing financial contributions for meaningful causes.
Provide detailed information and respond to questions from potential donors about the charity's work and programs.
Address donor feedback and resolve concerns to ensure a positive donor experience.
Accurately document all interactions and update supporter information in our system.
Maintain a professional, positive attitude, using strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with donors.
Collaborate with team members to refine fundraising strategies and enhance overall donor engagement.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in customer service, sales, or fundraising is a plus, but not required.
Strong verbal communication skills in English; additional language proficiency is an asset.
Ability to quickly build rapport with individuals and inspire them to support charitable initiatives.
High attention to detail and proficiency in data entry.
Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and manage multiple tasks effectively.
