Fort Rouge Auto Centre is seeking an experienced Body Shop Estimator to join our team. As a Body Shop Estimator, you will assess vehicle damage and prepare repair estimates to provide to Insurance agency. Responsibilities • Evaluate damaged vehicles and determine the extent of repairs needed. • Prepare accurate and detailed repair estimates • Communicate effectively with insurance agency to explain the estimation process and answer any questions. • Collaborate with technicians and management to ensure all estimates are completed to insurance standards, and develop a repair plan • Stay updated on repair standards and procedures Qualifications: • 2 years experience in a body shop or automotive environment - Autobody Technician experience is an asset • Strong understanding of vehicle structures, mechanical knowledge, and insurance providers (MPI) • Proven proficiency to operate or learn to operate computer software (Mitchell Connect) • Excellent verbal and written skills (English) • Highly organized and ability to maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment • Highly-motivated, team player who strives to provide an excellent customer experience • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to operate both standard and manual transmissions Monday to Friday, 8am -4:30pm (hours are negotiable). $25.00 an hour , cost-sharing benefits, and employer contribution pension plan offered after one year of service.
