With extensive experience tutoring students from middle school through high school, I specialize in preparing students for standardized examinations while developing their analytical and problem-solving capabilities that extend beyond the classroom.

As a graduate of the University of Toronto in Mathematics and Economics, I've successfully transitioned my academic expertise into a career in finance, where I apply sophisticated mathematical, economic, and statistical approaches to solve complex business challenges. I am excited to share my experience in applying math in the real life with you during our sessions.


-About lessons
As a tutor, I work with students from middle school through high school, helping them improve their coursework and enhance performance on standardized exams such as the SAT, and APs. Beyond just test prep, I also focus on developing students' critical thinking skills through "think aloud" exercises.

To help students reach their learning goals, I challenge them to push the boundaries of their knowledge by asking thoughtfully crafted questions in languages suitable to their levels. By the end of our sessions, students can expect to have a stronger grasp of the specific subject matter they're working on, as well as improved problem-solving abilities that will serve them in the long run.

A typical lesson plan involves first assessing the student's current understanding of the subject. We then collaborate to establish clear, measurable learning objectives for each session. Step-by-step, students will see themselves making tangible progress towards solving the problems at hand, and ultimately, gaining the confidence to tackle new problems independently.
