We rescued Mizu off the streets 7 weeks ago and are looking for a forever home for him. Mizu will thrive in a home with lots of love, patience, and attentive care.

*About Mizu*:
• Breed: Domestic Shorthair
• Coat: White and grey
• Age: Estimated between 8-12 months (according to the vet)
• Health: Neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and bloodwork. Will provide copies of medical records.

*Mizu's Personality*:
• Extremely affectionate and loving
• Enjoys cuddles, head rubs, and head bumps
• Will sleep on or beside you at night, and loves to nap on your lap during the day
• Vocal and spirited – has lots of personality and needs space in the house to run around and explore.
• Friendly and social; loves to greet people

*Habits*:
Mizu was a stray before we rescued him almost 2 months ago. He has some food-related habits that need management:
• He tends to dig into recycling and garbage for food
• Will try to eat food directly off your hands while preparing his meals
• Shows interest in human food

*Management tips that have worked for us*:
• Placing him in a safe room with a closed door while preparing his food
• Rinsing food containers before disposing of them
• Keeping a close watch during meals, gently pushing him away or using a water spray to deter him (he usually backs off after the first attempt)

*Ideal Owner*:
• Has a lot of love and care to give
• Doesn't have another pet or has the space to accommodate more than one
• Has patience and willingness to manage Mizu's habits
