The "PLUS" (" ") versions of regular in-line Cobra tools are their "Tour" or better player versions. They are smaller-profiled, usually-stronger-lofted (although that? Cobra woods are adjustable, so? You can dial in your perfect loft and lie combinations with the wrench!)... PLUS versions are neutrally-weighted a bit closer to the face for penetrating ball flight patterns too. So? They are articulated and built pretty much as their intended audience wants to see 'em. No heel-biassed, slice-fighting, ultra-low-weigting here. Just straight-forward, simple, brilliant honest playability and famed Cobra perfect feel and sound. Oh and? The things are rockets too! Wanna rifle a 3 wood out there as far as some drivers net ya, but from the fairway? Use the adjustment wrench and crank her down to "Strong-3 Loft" (or more correctly, 2-wood loft!) of 13.5*! Need a bit more elevation to your fairway woods off the deck? Use the same wrench and dial her up to 16* or modern-4-wood-loft. Cobra's sneaky great magical innovation is that no matter the loft or lie you adjust her to (it can be cranked upright in lie as well to further reduce any tendency to slice or push...), SHE SITS DEAD FLAT AND DEAD SOLID SQUARE. All other adjustable metal woods either open or close the face with loft adjustment. Cobra did this trick with an adaptable multi-bevelled sole grind that they dubbed "SmartPad". No matter the loft or lie, the "SmartPad" sole configuration takes it into consideration and re-squares the face to the adjustment. Again, no other adjustable fairway wood from ANY other manufacturer has this degree of design forward-thinking. Take a good look at the accompanying pics for all the additional "words" I might otherwise be inclined to write (a pic is apparently worth like a thousand of 'em I've heard!). She truly is so near to new that you'd be hard pressed to tell different. All of my personal-use stuff is always PRISTINE and that's what this was-- a back-up to a back-up that I am sure one day "in the fewtch" I'll regret having gotten rid of... If you have a query that ya might like to learn a bit more about, but I've failed to chat about here, simply reach out. I'd be happy to get back atcha!
Thanks for looking!
