Carburetor overhauled - genuine carburetor and all parts within. We did not need to change any part in the carburetor.
New air filter and pre-filter
New NGK spark plug

Valves checked and adjusted

Magneto cleaned and gapped
Metal Plate under gas tank cleaned and coated with zinc spray
Recoil starter lubricated
New paint on recoil starter housing
New heat paint on muffler, and fan cover over fins

Gassed up and test started today, then gas removed in total from tank, carburetor, and fuel pipe.

Technically, this is a summer engine with an air filter. You can also use it as-is on a snow blower. Just remove the air filter.
It has a factory installed fuel cut off valve.
The engine speed is variable from a throttle control and kill switch on the front panel.
If your 1350 snow engine has a 3/4" inch shaft, you would need to change the two pulleys about $10 each.

Secret of long and trouble-free engine life:
Engine oil is one of the best indicators of engine health. As a good habit, check oil level every time before you start it. Change engine oil regularly. If engine is run only for an hour in one year, change oil every year to eliminate water from condensation inside the engine. Water and oil when combined, churned by engine running, become a foam of bubbles that does little to no lubrication. Gas also has sulfur, some of which is converted to sulfuric acid during fuel combustion. While most of the acid passes out of the muffler, a little bit does leak past the piston and rings 4000 times a minute. This acid slowly corrodes the shiny friction surfaces in an engine. Black carbon in oil is like very fine sand. Engines in which oil is changed regularly, easily go past the 3000 hours factory estimated average life of an engine. Clearly, the narrative of "only add oil, no need to change oil" is ridiculous and misleading.
