2005 Subaru Legacy GT Ltd
VIN # 4S3BP676956333853
Located at 17Ave, 33St SE 2.5L turbocharged awd wagon 214,000 kms.
Non smoker, registered in Alberta.

Bone stock aside from the single mass flywheel and aluminum front control arms.

It's a bit rough, priced accordingly. I've been sort of neglecting it for a few years. It still gets regular oil changes at least, but I haven't really been taking it in the shop. It does run and drive just fine; even when it was -40 it fired right up.

The check engine light is on for an intermittent camshaft position sensor code. It runs pretty smoothly most of the time, but sometimes when I put the clutch in as I'm coasting to a stop it'll stumble and stall. Sometimes it'll go a week or two without stalling, and sometimes this will happen more than once in a single day. I just put it back in gear and pop the clutch while I'm still rolling to re-start it. I assume this is related to the check engine light, but I haven't gotten it checked out. One of the front speakers is blown, and the brake warning light occasionally comes on, I think it's something to do with the park brake.

It leaks both oil and coolant. Not a head gasket issue, just regular leaks and not enough that it leaves spots where I park. The oil cooler definitely leaks, and I'm sure other areas do as well. Not a crazy amount, not much more than these engines typically burn really. It takes a few fill-ups to go through a quart of oil, and takes about a year to go through a gallon of coolant. The turbo does not leak; it was replaced by the previous owner.

Heater blows hot, A/C blows cold. It has only ever been serviced by licensed techs with proper R134A and equipment.

Heated power leather seats in pretty nice shape, dual zone automatic climate control, keyless entry, powered sunroof, cruise control, roof rack, cargo mat and retractable cargo cover.

It's still got winter tires (Blizzaks with good tread) on the stock wheels; although some of them leak at the bead. When you put summers on, make sure the guy cleans the wheels properly this time and they'll be fine.

Power steering pump was replaced in 2017, had a pile of work done during 2019 and 2020: the timing belt was done, new plugs installed, new front calipers, starter, front control arms, rear struts and springs, both front wheel bearings and dust shields. Replaced the rad and a couple of hoses in 2021. Had some exhaust work done in 2022, and had the rear tail light harness replaced earlier this year.

Some rust on the wheel wells, and plenty of dings. The bumper and grill are out of shape from a minor accident, and there's a pretty large scrape on the passenger side rear door. The windshield is cracked but not in the main field of view. I think it would pass most inspections unless the guy's really being fussy.

No trades, we've already bought a newer car.
