An award designer from the mid 1940s, edith heath was the 1st successful ceramist to produce high quality limited production pieces. Examples of her work is in the permanent collection of the museum of modern art in new york. The heath teapot is one of the most well know designs. There are two small chips, one on the spout and one on the inside lip where the lid sits otherwise in very good condition.
