This is an incredible value for an F style mandolin. First of all it is like new- not a mark or a scratch. It has been set up for nice low action so you can play all those fast bluegrass licks or sweet jazz chords.

It has a nice woody tone which in part comes from the solid spruce top. Most mandolins in this price range are pressed plywood tops. Plugged in, it retains that sound and has LOTS of volume. The back is beautiful flamed maple. Tuners are vintage style, open backed, etched with preload buttons.

The case is new and is heavily padded. The strings are new. If you are already a player, this might be the upgrade you didn't think you could afford. If you are new to Mandolin, this one will will keep you playing for years to come.
