VINTAGE 1958 ZENITH TRANS-OCEANIC SHORT WAVE RADIO MODEL A600L

Hello & Welcome ..Up for sale we have a very nice lightly used Vintage Zenith Trans-Oceanic Short Wave Tube Radio Model A600L & was the top of the line...This one is wrapped in brown cow hide and was the next-to-last tube Trans-Oceanic made .. The letter L at the end of the model number indicates the leather case, hence this set is a model A600L...A leather-clad Trans-Oceanic is one of the most desired of all models, surpassed only by the original 7G605 Clipper and the rare military R-520/URR...This unit will also run on battery power as well great for places with limited power ...Please see photos...

It comes in good clean working condition..With a few scuff mark to the outside of the case, all pretty normal for age ..It has the retractable power cord & like a 5ft pull up antenna and the wave magnet that can be hung up for the short wave ..Still has the original manual / paper work... Its only real flaw is the plastic antenna knob is missing ..Still all in all pretty nice unit for being 66 years old ..Nothing like listening to a baseball game on a vintage radio for a bit of that nostalgia feeling ....Please see photos...

I sold a model H500 a few months ago & the buyer was going to send it to Ukraine as there are no local radio stations on air at this time & with the Short Wave they will get something..
