POSITION OVERVIEW:

As an SR&ED Technical Writer at Kingsway, you will use your manufacturing knowledge to prepare the technical portion of clients' Scientific Research & Experimental Development (SR&ED) tax incentive claims. You will play an integral role in the technical component of fieldwork engagements as you work with a team of skilled engineers, scientists and tax professionals. .

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Work with the clients to scope out their eligible projects.

2. Write technical reports, as per SR&ED guidelines.

3. Locate supporting evidence such as research plans, test results, prototypes, emails etc.

4. Research publicly available sources for contemporaneous evidence.

5. Defend the clients' claims, in the case of CRA review.

Qualifications:

1. Must have at least 2 years' experience in Manufacturing SR&ED Technical Writing

2. Ability to assist clients to identify potential sred projects.

3. Ability to articulate, negotiate and support your technical views to our clients.

4. Ability to conduct technical interviews to evaluate R&D activities.

5. Proven record of technical writing skills and ability to develop a concise technical report in a timely fashion.

COMPENSATION:

A generous commission split package.
