The truck is in Red Deer.
I want to trade this truck for a good running car or minivan, that I can use to commute to Calgary daily thats cheap on fuel. I AM A BACKYARD MECHANIC 35 years, no garbage will be accepted!
I bought this in an emergency because my car died.
I have had the truck for about 3 weeks.
My intention was to make a work truck out of it, take the box off and put a flat deck and cage on it for doing fencing and odd handyman jobs.
I just put in a brand new alternator as you can see, that was 150 from Parts Source.
I put stop leak in the radiator which has slowed it down but the rad will need to be changed eventually.
I also bought the three spring loaded bolts that connects the why pipe exhaust to the muffler pipe. Truck is loud right now of course.
The current three bolts snapped off which is common on these trucks.
There's holes in the cab outside panels but no leakage into the cabin itself of exhaust.
The interior is like brand new as you can see no burns cuts scrapes or tears in it.
The truck was babied from brand new by the other owner to go back and forth to work locally for years.
Transmission is solid, engine is solid, brakes are good, the truck is insured and plated and can be test driven.
Nothing has been molested, everything is original under the hood.
Has tilt steering column, all lights, signals, cruise control everything works on the column. That's worth 500 alone.
New matching tires on front and same on back. Snows diggers on back.
The linkage holding the wiper control arms inside the wiper box is broken, simple fix just grab the parts somewhere. I have the wiper blade arm.
I can't sell it for cash because I need a car to get to work everyday in Calgary, I can't drive a $100 bill!
