Know about Ping's i-series irons? Y'know, soft, soft feel thanks to Ping (finally!) moving away from using only (much harder, harsher feeling...) 17-4 ph stainless steel to using much softer 431 SS. 431's higher atrength-to-weight properties allow for thinner casting sections, particularly the now-thinner, spring-i-er faces. So not only are they softer feeling than previous Ping deep cavity forgiving irons, these things positively FLY! Easily a club longer relative to older Ping (and many other companies') irons. And Ping hasn't forgotten what begat the enterprise 60 years ago: FORVIVENESS! Right from the beginning, Ping's 'i" series irons were always meant to be riding the very fine line between ultimate playability and shot-making capability, AND yet maintaining Ping's famed "let's-help-you-out-where-you-may-need-it" brilliance. And if you think that they may be a bit TOO forgiving for you, you player you? Victor Hovland, Stuart Cink, Lee Westwood and a bunch of other Ping Staff players on the world tours use the progenitors of this very set (the series is now up to the i230...). They're flat out brilliant from every angle- from the design, through their meticulous execution and build quality (a Ping trademark!), to their handsomeness of detail (they look awesome up close and from afar in the bag) and simple, famed PING playability? This may be the perfect iron ever made! This set has Factory Dynamic Gold R300 men's regular flex shafts. They're BLACK color code which is Ping-code for "Men's Standard" lofts and lies and lengths. Grips are Factory PING Logo'd Lamkins in as NEW CONDITION, also in standard width. They're in truly spectacular condition showing little signs of wear (431 ss, as soft as it is, DOES wear quicker, so if not taken care of, they look very used, very quickly. This set is not one of those-- I meticulously look after my toys!) Take a look at the accompanying pics-- they are of the exact set up for nabs. Got a question? Simply reach out and ask. I'd be happy to get back at ya...
Thanks for stopping in for a look and a read and happy golfin'!
