Get the right accessory for rust removal on metal surfaces. The Makita Wire Brush Wheel (794382-7) is engineered for efficient material removal when used with the Makita Wheel Sander (model 9741, sold separately). The 4-3/4 in Wheel Sander come originally with nylon brush wheel.
Great machine for rust and paint removal, clearing dust, dirt, and grit from exterior surfaces. I used it for wood grain texture revealing. The wire brush wheel works much better with hard wood in comparison to nylon brush for soft wood.
