I adopted him from a farm in Kitchener before the pandemic. He has always been a very quiet dog since he was a puppy. He has a great temperament and never gets angry. He never barks unnecessarily, except when he senses something suspicious and becomes alert.

Due to growing up during the pandemic, he wasn't well-socialized and didn't meet many different people or dogs during his puppyhood. However, he lived with a cat when he was little and has a strong interest in cats, getting along well with them. As he grew up, he became very interested in passersby and other dogs he encountered, wanting to interact, meet, and invite them to play. When he gets excited, his breathing becomes heavy, which can scare people who are afraid of dogs, but he is actually very friendly and has never bitten anyone or any dog.

He has always been very interested in food, including human food, and likes chewable toys. He enjoys plush toys that make sounds, balls, and bone-like toys. He hasn't received any formal training; I taught him a bit myself and tried using a clicker. However, due to time constraints, I didn't teach him much. He currently understands commands like "sit," "shake," "yes," "no," and "high five." He doesn't have separation anxiety. When I go out, he stays quietly at home, but you need to be careful with toilet paper and kitchen towels, as these are the only things he likes to chew on at home. He's very fascinated by them.

Overall, he is a very suitable companion dog, providing you with a sense of security and emotional value. Due to work reasons, I need to return to China, and I don't want to risk long-distance flights as it could endanger his life. I love him very much, and finding an adopter for him is a decision made out of necessity. I hope he can stay happy and healthy in Canada, find a suitable home, and live a long and fulfilling life.
