1981 Dodge/Plymouth/Mitsubishi Colt for sale

This gem of a car has a powerful 1.4L Carbureted engine that is currently in a running and driving condition. "The Bean" as someone called it once upon a time would make a wonderful restoration project or a drag car project. It does currently run and can be driven but "The Bean" has not been fully gone through since purchasing. The vehicle was recently driven across the city and all seemed well for the age of the car.

"The Bean" has one feature most people have never heard of and that is a "Twin Stick Shifter". The vehicle has a second shift lever that allows you to change gear ratios from economy to POWER mode. This gives you 8 forward gears and 2 reverse gears.

Exhaust has broken off somewhere under the car but muffler is in the back of the vehicle. The carb was recently cleaned and rebuilt but needs to be tuned as it likes to make some nice pops and bangs under deceleration. Has an aftermarket electric fuel pump installed and currently has no ignition cylinder, car must be started by turning ignition switch with something flat. Passenger rear window
and windshield were broken before before I received the vehicle but the side window is taped up so no water can get in. signal light flasher has also stopped working but signal lights will turn on with lever. All tires held air for over a year with one slowly leaking down over a few months.

Reason for selling is I have no room to keep the car as I just moved into a new place. Would love to keep the car and turn "the Bean" into something fun and cool but right now the money needs to go to renovations on the house.
